Why have “a day in the life” documentary family session
What is a documentary family session?
Looking back at my favorite photos of my own daughter I realized that the ones that really take me back to when they were little are the ones that portray them being themselves on a lazy Sunday morning, carrying their love around in their pj’s or helping us cook breakfast.
During our documentary family session, I’ll photograph your family doing what you like to do the most when you are in the comfort of your home. Whether your family likes to play instruments, cook, or read and play together. I can capture the memories you want to remember forever.
Why have an “A day in the life” session?
Our kids are only little once! And on their developmental journeys, they go through phases where they are obsessed with something, but we know it won’t last. Plus, having little ones turn our lives into beautiful chaos, and you will want to remember exactly how your life was when they grow up.
When is the best time to book a documentary family session?
Time is fleeting. Specially when you have little ones. You don’t need to wait for a milestone to have pictures of your family. You are always worth celebrating.
How to prepare for your documentary family session
I’ll go to your house either on a Saturday or Sunday morning, and we’ll hang out for the morning. From the time your kids wake up, until around lunchtime. Your house doesn’t have to be perfect. You can even choose two rooms where the most action happens. Don’t worry about the dishes in the sink, I won’t even look at them. What I think it’s important is your family’s interaction at the dining table.
