Being a parent of a newborn is really magical. When my children were born, all I wanted to do all day long was hold them tight and breathe in their newborn scent—I was completely mesmerized by them. That overwhelming feeling of love is what you should feel when you look back at your pictures. Lifestyle photography can capture these feelings and special moments.
Your newborn session is in the comfort of your home
Your family is different now, and everybody needs time to adjust to the new reality. Naturally, the best place to have your newborn session is in the comfort of your home, showcasing the beautiful nursery that you so carefully designed for your little one and your bedroom where you are going to spend so much time for the next few months. It’s also going to feel more personal, more you—after all, it’s the home you are making your life’s memories in.
An in-home newborn session is safe and stress-free
Your newborn’s favorite place in the world is in your arms. Your baby is going to be happier, and it’s how I shoot most of my newborn sessions. I will include props that are special to your family, but I won’t bring generic photography props to your house. It will just be me and my camera because I want to customize the experience to your family and make it about what is important to you.
What I am doing to keep you safe in times of coronavirus
I know you are worried about being exposed to coronavirus, so here's what I'm doing to keep your family safe: I'm going to wear a mask the entire time I'm at your house.
I'm going to sanitize my hands and every single piece of equipment I bring with me before your shoot.
I'll check my temperature before going to your house, I will be as far away as possible and I will direct you on what to do, but I won't touch your newborn baby.
